Each pass will permit one (1) adult and up to three other people (depending on size and age) one hour’s use of one of the Museum’s historic row boats on Lake Union during the Museum’s normal livery (rental) hours Wednesday to Sunday at no charge whenever the Museum’s row boat livery (rental) is open. When the wind conditions are too rough (wind speeds exceeding 12 knots or gusts of 15 knots), they stop renting boats for safety reasons. These conditions cannot be predicted in advance, so if you hold a pass for one of these days and the Center cannot honor it due to high winds, you’ll receive a row pass to cash in on a later date.
The Center for Wooden Boats (CWB) promotes northwest maritime heritage through education, interpretation andhands-on experience in building, maintaining and using historic small craft.
